Carlos Lindade

Carlos Lindade is a Portuguese-Canadian professional with extensive experience in the field of ELT (English Language Teaching), heavily involved in the training of pre and in-service EFL teachers and in the development of coursebooks for Portuguese students of English (U Dare 9, 2015; Stars 4, 2016).

He is an active member of the Portuguese Association of Teachers of English (APPI) and of also a member of the Centre for English, Translation and Anglo-Portuguese Studies (CETAPS).

He holds a PhD in Advanced English Studies from the University of Vigo where he obtained the highest grade: Sobresaliente Cum Laude. During the current academic year Carlos is working towards publishing his doctoral thesis:
A comprehensive analysis on how English Language Teaching coursebooks promote teaching pronunciation in Portuguese public schools.
